General Eligibility Requirements
- Home is your homestead (has a homestead exemption)
- Insured value of $700,000 or less (waived for low-income applicants)
- Home was built, or had a building permit issued, before January 1, 2008
- Household income at or below 120% of your county's median income for this cycle
The state contributes up to $2 for every $1 a homeowner invests, up to a $10,000 grant. Low-income homeowners (at or below 80% of county median income) may qualify for the full $10,000 with no matching contribution required.
